In all honesty, 2018 was a difficult year for me for a number of reasons however I feel like I am slowly recovering.
As of the here and now, what better way to start a year than to kick off with a post. I am now in my third year and for those who are new to my blog I am studying English with a minor in History.
Third year screams the word DISSERTATION and yes, it’s pretty scary. I’ve decided to do my dissertation on the Holocaust although I haven’t started yet I will be soon. I’ll be sure to fill you in as the process goes on, I’m not sure how prepared I am for the stress of the upcoming months but its important to work as hard as you possibly can without over doing it!
With that in mind, I would like to share my New Year’s resolutions with you.
New Year Resolutions:
- Focus on myself
- Adopt a positive mental attitude
- Strive towards success
- Learn to combat anxiety
I’ve chosen these four resolutions as I believe they will help me to become the best version of myself. I often forget to focus on what’s important and putting my health and my studies first is my biggest aim for 2019. Meanwhile, positive thinking will no doubt help me to go above and beyond the target I set for myself and in turn, enable me to strive for success. The final resolution, which is to develop coping strategies to combat anxiety is very important to me. I’m not quite sure how I am going to do this, but its an issue that needs addressing.
I’m hoping I can successfully achieve or at least work towards these New Year resolutions in the coming months to propel myself to where I want to be in life.
Thank you for reading and have a Happy New Year!
